Position Summary
The Policy & Program Development Internship program is designed to introduce students to local, state, and federal economic development policy issues, regional labor market information, and other analytical functions through a variety of support duties. The Public Policy Intern primarily supports the needs of internal customers engaged in economic and community development throughout the state.
Responsibilities
The Public Policy Intern will spend a majority of their time in these activities:
- Compile labor market and related policy information to produce regional economic and industry reports
- Conduct analysis of state and federal legislation as it related to WEDC and Wisconsin’s economic goals.
- Assist with completing internal and external requests for information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $15 - $18
