Position will be Responsible For:
- Operating multiple CNC brake press machines for a variety of new, repeat or prototype parts
- Complete set-up operations on parts requiring complicated sections, tooling, or special forming operations
- Making program edits / adjust the machine as needed
- Complete all inspection & quality processes as needed per part
- Maintaining production rate/speed consistently across wide variety of work
- 1-2 years experience independently setting up and operating brake press equipment for repeat style jobs, any experience or exposure to setting up new or prototype parts preferred
- Proficient in use of all hand measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers)
- Able to make routine program edits, complete tooling changes, and make machine adjustments as needed. Any offline programming experience is a plus
- Comfortable with a job shop environment where work may flux from from prototype to production week to week
- Able to lift raw material or finished goods up to 35 pounds, handle regular repetitive movements required in operations or material/part handling
- Able to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day with minimal break periods, and sit or walk as needed
Starting pay dependent on applicable work experience
