Great local workplace looking for a full time saw operator to help feed work to core manufacturing divisions and serve some of our company's Top customers in our fabrication division!
***Role offers flexible full time (Monday-Friday or Monday-Thursday) hours on 1st shift (start time could range from 6am to 10am). Could accomodate a 2nd shift if preferred after completing training.
The role will be primarily responsible for operating a CNC band saw loading / handling and cutting aluminum bar stock, steel angle iron, and steel tube stock and transferring parts to packaging totes or next manufacturing operation. Crane/lifting equipment will be available for the heavier. Will be required to complete routine quality checks and verify dimension using tape measure for
Based on workload or customer demand, this role may be periodically floated to different areas of the shop and help with other operations (secondary machine operating, assembly, lasers, or other material handling operaions)

Requirements
Preferred & Required Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing experience in the metals industry required, previous experience operating a CNC or manual saw preferred
- Strong work ethic, comfortable performing work of a critical but repetitive nature
- Must be able to read a tape measure, and interpret work orders ro verify part cut quality and specs
- Able to regularly lift up to 40-50lbs wihtout assistance
- Able to stand for 8-9 hours per day and walk as needed throughout a shift
