What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift - Press Set-Up Operator position at Wisconsin Metal Parts LLC?
We are looking for a full time Stamping Press Set-Up Operator to join our press room on 2nd shift! Overtime available, $2/hour shift premium on top of base pay and paid 30-minute lunch!

Position Responsible For:
- Monitoring press operation on one or more automatic presses for progressive stamping tools
- Assisting and completing press set-ups
- Reading blueprints as needed to reference part features, dimensions, & tolerances
- Completing all inspection and quality processes as required per part
- Meeting or exceeding production rate/speed consistently across wide variety of work
- Active engagement in learning/training as needed to complete set-ups independently for routine, established parts/tools
- Performing routine daily press & department maintenance

- 6 months work experience in operating/settting up metal stamping presses strongly preferred. Candidates with more experience strongly encouraged to apply!
- Will consider candidates with other trades or mechanical backgrounds
- Desire to advance to a higher level of skill in set-ups
- Self-motivated, hands on, natural team player
- Detail orientated, with a production and quality mindset
- Experience using/reading basic hand measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers) strongly preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift raw material or finished goods up to 35 pounds
- Able to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day with minimal break periods, and sit or walk as needed
