Field Marketing Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Marketer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with your colleagues in Marketing and Underwriting to develop and implement an annual marketing plan focused on strengthening agency relationships, supporting premium and policy growth count and improving profitability. This position works in the office a couple days a week and is on the road visiting agents the rest of the time.

Duties

• Regularly communicate with agencies across a variety of available media and in-person meetings, industry and networking events and team building activities
• Deliver onboarding and training to newly appointed agencies and agents, both in-person and virtually
• Deliver ad-hoc training to existing agents to support their ongoing skill and knowledge to promote the growth of WMI products, underwriting guides and technology
• Develop new training programs and materials and deliver in-person and virtual training to support the rollout of new technology, products, guidelines and other initiatives
• Document agency engagement through a variety of tools including CRM and call reports and analyze the data to evaluate the success of your efforts
• Report back regularly to Marketing and Underwriting colleagues on the results of agencies, competitor news and industry trends.
• Create, analyze and share monthly reports highlighting key agency performance indicators
• Interview and evaluate new prospective agencies to support company efforts to grow its network of appointed agents and expand it's geographic footprint into underserved areas

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other related field
• Two or more years' experience in sales, customer service or marketing
• Industry experience in property & casualty insurance
• Strong organizational and time management skills to optimize time in the field
• Confidence and presence to effectively communicate in group settings and at different organizational levels
• A results-oriented and self-driven personality
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
