Responsibilities
The duties outlined below represent the minimum duties required as a Property Claim Representative. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Investigate claims and obtain relevant facts to determine coverage for property losses
Write and obtain an agreed estimate of damages when coverage is available.
Document claim file activities in accurate and timely manner.
Interact effectively with customers, insurance agents, contractors and other personnel involved in the claims process.
Requirements
SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
Strong written and oral communication
Knowledge of buildings / property and ability to assess damages
Sustain a strong knowledge of Microsoft products and basic computer functions
Capable of fostering partnership in a fast paced environment
Maintain strong organization and time management skills
Ability to use logic and to think analytically
Bachelor's Degree
2-5 years prior experience in the insurance or construction industry
