Job Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for leading our medical staff and playing a key role in shaping the future of our hospital. This includes overseeing clinical operations, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Medical Director will also be responsible for practicing traditional family medicine, including outpatient and inpatient work, as well as inclusion in our ER call. This will involve working with two other physicians and four APPs, and seeing approximately 15-18 patients per day in the clinic.
Leadership Opportunities
We are seeking a candidate who is interested in leadership and has experience managing teams. As a Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes, and to collaborate with other leaders to advance the mission of our hospital. We offer a range of training and development opportunities to support your growth and success in this role.
Practice Setting
This is a great opportunity to practice traditional family medicine in a relaxed and supportive environment. Our clinic sees approximately 15-18 patients per day, and our ER sees around 1500 patients per year. Call is relatively light at 1:5-1:6, and you will not be required to stay onsite when on call. We offer flexibility in your practice, working hours, and appointment times, allowing you to tailor your schedule to meet your needs and goals.
