What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traditional Family Medicine Practice in Rural Setting position at Wisconsin Office of Rural Health?
The Provider Placement Program for Wisconsin was established in 1979 as a non-profit physician recruitment program. Our mission is to support the development of rural health care by recruiting and retaining primary care physicians in underserved areas.
As a Family Medicine Physician with the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health, you will be part of a team dedicated to improving the health outcomes of rural residents. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine in a traditional family medicine setting, with the support of a hospital-owned system and access to a range of services.
One of the key benefits of this position is the flexibility it offers. You can choose to work in outpatient only, inpatient and outpatient, or a combination of both. Additionally, obstetrics is available, as is surgical OB, without the requirement for fellowship training.
Richland Center itself offers a great quality of life, with a range of outdoor activities and cultural attractions. The area is also home to the birthplace of Frank Lloyd Wright, offering a lively arts scene and cultural attractions.
We invite you to join us and become part of a team dedicated to improving the health outcomes of rural residents.
