Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have leadership capabilities, experience working with Fanuc based multi-axis lathes, G-code programming, and precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small 2nd shift (5 employees or less), including managing priorities, assigning tasks, ensuring safety of all employees, and ensuring quality and compliance of all products
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling, tapping, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with the engineering team to make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage priorities based on a production schedule
Requirements
Schedule : ( 4) - 10 hour shift, (1) - 8 hour shift of overtime (48 hours total)
Shift 1 : Sunday 5pm-Monday 3am
Shift 2 : Monday 1pm-11pm
Shift 3 : Tuesday 1pm-11pm
Shift 4 : Wednesday 1pm-11pm
Shift 5 : Thursday 1pm-9pm (8 hours of overtime)
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours : No less than 40 per week
