Chiropractic Receptionist / Assistant

The Wisconsin Spine Center, a chiropractic office in Sheboygan, is replacing an employee who is relocating out-of-state. As we continue to grow, we are ready to hire another great person looking to join our wonderful team! This rare opportunity offers a career helping people dramatically improve their lives. A big part of our wonderful results is our incredible staff – which could include you! No experience needed as a chiropractic assistant; we can arrange for any necessary training. The doctor has been in practice 25 years and has helped thousands of patients. He regularly attends doctor conferences to stay at the cutting edge of natural health procedures and protocols to provide a unique patient experience and remarkable results.
Normal staff working hours:
- Mon: 8:30am-6:00pm
- Tue: CLOSED
- Wed: 8:30am-6:00pm
- Thurs: 8:30am-6:00pm
- Fri: 8:30am-4:00pm
- We take one-hour lunch breaks
We are usually done by 6pm & 4pm on respective days, but occasionally run a little later than those designated times.
Average hours worked per week: 30-32
Pay:
- Based on ability and the skills that are completed in the training process; as skills are completed, hourly pay increases. Training for this position takes time, therefore, *we are seeking someone looking for long-term employment*. - Able to travel up to 150 miles within the state of Wisconsin for training on weekends (4-7 times during the next two years, then once or twice per year after that. Company pays for all education and continuing education plus hotel, meals and mileage.)

- Willing and able to do basic office cleaning (Vacuum, Clean bathrooms, Windows, Dust, Shovel a little snow, Pull a few weeds, etc.)
Essential Duties:
- Answer phone
- Greet patients
- Schedule appointments
- Enter patient data & charges in computer
- Collect payments
- Discuss care plan costs, insurance coverage and financing options with new patients
- Pull files, sort mail, stock inventory shelves
- Call insurance company and verify patient benefits
- Communicate with billing company
- Set patients up on in-office therapies (after necessary training completed)
- Take x-rays (after necessary training completed)
- Clean office including bathrooms, windows, dust, shovel a little snow, pull a few weeds, etc.
- Do whatever you are asked to do or needs to be done (Nothing illegal, immoral or unethical)
- Staff are required to wear scrubs with their name embroidered. (Company reimburses scrub costs.)
