- Job Title: Customer Service Representative
- Salary Range: $45,000 - $48,000
- Location: Tampa Office or Sarasota, FL (ONSITE)
- Work Hours: 10am to 7pm EST.
- Orlando, FL candidates may initially work remotely, but should be able to work from the office in the future.
- Primary Role: Provide phone customer service for insureds, agents, and internal company personnel.
- Responsibilities: Completing transactional requests, accurately responding to customer questions, actively listening to customer issues, reading/interpreting procedures and documents, staying updated on marketing campaigns, reporting discrepancies in procedures and policy details, interpreting instructions in various forms, and performing other duties as required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, agency experience preferred. Some college or post-secondary training in business operations or insurance strongly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, detail-oriented, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, flexibility, ability to adapt in a changing business environment with minimal supervision, strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
- Licenses/Certifications: Not necessary, but Agency background and/or Agent license (220 or 440 license) preferred.
