Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Driver to join our team. The Yard Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within the yard, ensuring that all freight is handled properly. This role requires a strong understanding of truck driving and commercial driving principles.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver trailers in the yard and ensure proper positioning for loading and unloading.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of movements and deliveries.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while operating equipment in the yard.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
