Wise Medical Staffing is currently seeking CMA - Certified Medical Assistant for long term care facilities. The ideal CMA candidate will possess a license / certification in the state of Virginia with at least 1 year of long-term care experience.
CMA - Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities and Duties :
- Administers care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care.
- Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelines.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
- Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.
