Licensed Practical Nurse needed for LPN Contract available in Morgantown,WV.

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

  • Must have a valid license / certification in the state of WV(compact licensing a plus)
  • Minimum 1 year of long-term health care experience (such as a nursing home or assisted living)
  • Current CPR or BLS certificate
  • Must clear background checks and pre-employment drug screening
  • Experience in documenting and / or charting desired
  • Physically able to perform job duties

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

  • Administer care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse and / or supervisor
  • Participate in the delivery and evaluation of patient care
  • Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelines
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision
  • Documenting and / or Charting, according to facility specifications
