Position Overview
Wise Pelican is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The SDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. This role plays a crucial part in our sales pipeline, working closely with Account Executives (AEs) to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach – Proactively identify and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other prospecting methods.
- Qualifying Leads – Assess prospect needs, pain points, and fit for Wise Pelican’s products and services.
- Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead information in HubSpot to ensure proper tracking and follow-ups.
- Scheduling Meetings – Book discovery calls and product demos for AEs with high-quality leads.
- Follow-Ups – Re-engage with dormant or lukewarm leads to keep the pipeline active.
- Collaboration – Work closely with the marketing team to optimize messaging and outreach strategies.
- Performance Tracking – Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead qualification rates, booked meetings, and conversion rates.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1 years of sales experience (preferably in a B2B SaaS or high-velocity sales environment).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, professional approach.
- CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) and ability to track lead interactions accurately.
- Self-motivated with a high-energy, proactive attitude.
- Ability to handle objections and think quickly in fast-paced sales conversations.
- Experience with outbound sales strategies and lead qualification frameworks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $41,600 per year
Performance Bonuses:
- $100 per lead converted to a closed-won deal under $2,000 MRR.
- $500 per lead converted to a closed-won deal resulting in $2,000–$9,999 MRR.
- $2,000 per lead converted to a closed-won deal resulting in $10,000 MRR.
