As a Process Operator, you will maintain and operate all processing equipment and machines to produce snacks of the highest quality in a safe and efficient manner.
Areas of Responsibilities :
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Check schedules to see that the correct product is run, and product is directed to the correct line for packaging
- Change processing machines (fryers) over to different cuts, when necessary
- Routinely change knives to ensure product is of the highest quality
- Monitor settings and make changes and adjustments, when necessary
- Continuously check quality test readings for salt levels, moisture levels, oil absorption levels, defects, breakage, and color
- Run samples on incoming potato loads
- Fill and monitor salt application machinery
- Perform minor maintenance on all systems
- Keep areas neat, clean, orderly, and safe
- Complete and submit all required paperwork and checklist
- Keep open lines of communication with fellow departments, maintenance, production, QA, and supervision
