What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cooker position at Wise Snacks?
3rd SHIFT : 12AM MIDNIGHT - 8AM w / MANDATORY OVERTIME
Location(s) : RELATED PLANT
As a Continuous Cooker, you will o perate cookers for the onion ring pellet ribbon processing.
Areas of Responsibilities :
- DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operate and maintain ribbon oilers
- Check ribbon moisture and ribbon texture
- WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform Weekly / Weekend cleaning on cookers and surrounding areas
- Work with cleaning chemicals
- OTHER RESPONSIBILITES :
- Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision
- Attend required training sessions
- Work overtime as required
- Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications
Education and Experience :
Required :
- GENERAL EDUCATION
- ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION
Preferred :
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
- ADVANCED SCHOOLING
