Job Description Job Description 6AM - 6PM $18 - $20 BASED ON EXPERIENCE MONDAY - FRIDAYJob Summary : The primary function of the Quality Control Associate position is to ensure product quality and to monitor and perform the daily Quality Control & Assurance activities in the Production environment.This role supports Safety, Health & Environmental initiatives as required.Perform required quantitative and qualitative product analyses and maintain accurate reporting.Review, monitor and take appropriate action regarding production processes to ensure conformance with critical factors, specification and plant and regulatory policies.Review and report on summary production data as it relates to quality and efficiency.Participate in making recommendations to Plant Leadership regarding quality and production system improvements.Provide training to plant operations personnel on Quality programs to promote the safe and cost-effective production of quality products.Maintain timely, accurate and complete reporting of routine and pertinent information to upper management and other interested parties.Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.Fills in as needed on the line and as needed in other areas.Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ factory experience in QA / QCMust have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines for multiple customers and projects at once.Aptitude and ability to perform first-level troubleshooting.Computer skill with MS Office wordExcellent math skills.Able to read, write, and communicate thoughts, ideas, requests and problems to fellow employees and management accordingly.Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude.Able to read and interpret product specifications and schematicsAble to learn and comprehend Standard Quality Practices.Be personable while training and engaging in quality practices.Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.Flexibility to work twelve-hour shift 6 : 00am to 6 : 00pm if required.
