Wise Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to service our client in the Fairfield, OH area!
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the distribution facilities, by leading daily functions of the warehouse including customer orders, receiving, employee procurement and placement, and strategical planning to improve all processes to encourage company growth.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead all scheduling aspects of Warehouse Facilities including stock order sheets, dock unloading, large customer order transfers, containers, and shipments to accomplish all necessary stocking, order selecting, material handling necessities at the Production Warehouses.
- Consent scheduling of employee training with Shift Manager/Supervisor and WH
- Training Manager.
- Report on any personnel or process issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Be the direct line of communication for other departments including but not limited to
- HR, Production Warehouse Teams, Maintenance, and Safety.
- Maintain aspects of the Warehouse facility with necessary departments.
- Coordinates with Production Warehouse Managers for workflow necessities.
- Organize routes with Box Truck Drivers.
- Analyze and modify warehouse for seasonal workload, and functional needs within facility.
- Be able to communicate goals and tasks with and to all employees.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by higher management.
- Ensure that all employees are following all the processes and procedures set forth by management,
- Handle corrective action within facilities.
- Possess the skills necessary to perform any tasks needing done within the Warehouse facilities.
- Follow ALL Safety Requirements.
Requirements:
- Able to lift an average of 40lbs repetitively.
- Can fully operate in a pick/pack/process work environment.
- Ability to use all aspects of Microsoft Office.
- High School Diploma, college education is preferred.
- 3-5 yrs. warehouse experience.
- FIFO
