Position Details:

• Job Title: Carpenter
• Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, you will:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Take accurate measurements and calculate the required size and amount of materials.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials based on measurements.
• Build various structures, including window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings.
• Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls, ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, installing them as designated.
• Inspect and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.

Requirements and Skills: To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Provide own tools.
• Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Good understanding of basic math.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.
