CNC Operator
This position will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts, under minimal supervision. This position will be responsible for fabricating within the specified dimensions, per engineer drawings, quality control tolerances, and within the efficiency expectations as outlined on each work order. This position is Full-time hourly position and will report directly to the CNC Lead and/or Supervisor.
Job Summary:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials in CNC machinery.
- Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Able to read and understand drawings
- Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
- Flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ experience operating CNC lathes, mills and/or turn mills
- Must have basic math skills, equivalent to 8th grade level math.
