What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storeroom Clerk position at Wise Staffing?
Coordinates the daily operations of the company maintenance stockroom, which provides a wide variety of equipment parts utilized by company team members. Organization is a key factor in this position.
Request quotes, verify pricing and maintain inventory accuracy of part order request. Process and issue purchase order to vendors.
Maintains the Maintenance checkbook to include issuing POs, verification, and entry of invoices.
Coordinates with contract service scheduled repairs and signs off on service repairs with forklift provider as assigned by work order request.
Source and meet with new vendors to obtain services or cost improvements.
Perform monthly inventory count of maintenance chemical supplies and update database inventory.
Performs assigned facility / equipment safety inspection as assigned per work order system.
Ensure adequate inventory levels of stock parts and help identify and prioritize immediate equipment repairs vs stock parts.
Assist in updating CMMS eMaint inventory and distribute parts to work orders.
Unpack maintenance part deliveries, stock team members bin and process receiving of parts.
Maintain parts room clean / organized on a regular basis, including housekeeping.
Manage stock level of parts review maintenance stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items.
