We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting supply chain operations. This position requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems to optimize inventory control processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Utilize data mining techniques to analyze inventory trends and demand planning.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and manage stock levels effectively.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment of materials and products.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
- Support materials management by coordinating with suppliers and internal departments for inventory needs.
- Generate reports using SQL or other analytical tools to provide insights into inventory performance.
- Participate in cycle counts and assist in physical inventories as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and materials management practices.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with demand planning processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) concepts is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Walking floor/pulling inventory from racks
- Forklift experience preferred
- Computer/tablet skills a must.
