Wise Wonder Enrichment is a premier enrichment center with a mission of bringing early literacy skills back to the forefront of education in NYC. We are seeking an energetic, confident, and outgoing Educational Program Director for our W59th Street, Manhattan Location!
Our Literacy Studio is all about the LOVE of reading! We teach it, absorb it, and spread the love of reading each day! We make a significant difference in the lives of young children and families through our lesson plans that are designed in-house for children ages 6 months to 10 years old. We read, write, create, and enjoy each moment! It is our own unique way of putting our stamp on the world!
The Role:
- Manage all front desk operations
- Take ownership of registration and class enrollment, from initial parent outreach to registration
- Oversee teachers & delivery of our custom curriculum
- Printing & organizing weekly curriculum as needed
- Interaction with children and families is a must - we take pride in building relationships!
- Good in-person & telephone communication skills, organization, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment are vital
- Maintain the highest level of customer service possible at all times!
- Ensure the location is clean, well-organized, and visually presentable for clients each day

Qualifications/Skills :
- Bachelor's Degree required, Early Childhood Education background preferred
- 2 years of managerial experience preferable, ideally in a customer-facing role in a child-orientated facility
- Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and hospitality skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Slack, etc
- Experience with Sawyer Tools is highly desirable
- Self-starter, highly motivated, dynamic, and creative skills are a must
- A good sense of humor!
- Must provide documentation of legal U.S. Residency
