The Cabinet Designer is responsible for creating detailed and precise designs that adhere to builder specifications and architectural drawings using 20-20 design software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and critical thinking skills to ensure that layouts are not only visually appealing but also functional and practical for builders. By leveraging technical expertise and attention to detail, the Cabinet Designer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, tailored solutions that meet client needs and enhance overall project success.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Utilize blueprints and architectural drawings to create detailed designs using 20-20 Technologies software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
- Address practical challenges by solving complex problems and navigating a variety of concrete variables, even in situations with limited standardization.
- Interpret and execute a diverse range of instructions, whether presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats, to deliver precise and effective designs.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail while being a collaborative team player, effectively managing multiple tasks to consistently produce high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Assist in training and onboarding new hires, sharing expertise and best practices to foster team development and continuity.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Cabinet Design Manager, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the design team.
- College Degree Preferred
- 2020 Experience is Preferred
- General Knowledge of Construction
- General knowledge of cabinet installation
- Professional certifications and/or Technical Skills
- Team oriented
