Job Type: Full-Time
Driving 18 Wheeler rigs and doing drop and hook deliveries between warehouse and Texas branches then return (Midnight pick up - return around 10 am the following day.)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Routes vary as needed, all in Texas
- You will be driving a tractor/trailer combination with a 53’ trailer.
- Inspect the load prior to starting the trip.
- Insure the vehicle is maintained and in good operating condition.
- Maintain a clean truck and trailer.
- Comply with all safety procedures.
- On time and accurate delivery of freight to the locations.
- M-F, sometimes you will be asked to work weekends.
- When you are not driving, you will be preforming DOT inspections for the trucks, picking up parts and other duties around the auto shop.
- Class A CDL Required
- 3 years tractor/trailer driving experience or the successful completion of our mentor program if less than a year of driving experience
- Age 21 or older
- To be considered for this position, applicants must maintain a clean driving record for the past 7 years, free of DUI/DWI convictions, careless/reckless driving citations, license suspensions/revocations, or use of electronic devices while driving violations. Drive long distances day and night on all types of roads and in all types of weather
