Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a combination with a 53’ trailer to transport goods to various locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including mileage, delivery times, and any relevant details.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, ensuring safe and responsible driving practices.
- Perform warehouse duties, which may include loading/unloading, organizing inventory, and other tasks as assigned, during non-driving hours.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) license.
- Clean driving record with no major or repetitive violations.
- 3 years of previous experience as a commercial driver required.
- Proven experience operating a tractor/trailer combination with a 53’ trailer.
- Ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
