What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Coordinator position at Wisenbaker Builder Services, Inc.?
Job Purpose
Provides operational support for the Designer and Design Center Manager in order to deliver an exceptional design center experience to both buyers and our builder customers.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares and maintains the home buyer folder for each appointment
- Maintains status reports for the builder and WBS
- Facilitates the browse for home buyers
- Schedule home buyers to ensure cycle time adherence
- Maintain organization of the showroom
- Assist in resolving issues with the home buyer
- Develop an understanding of the selection process
- Accommodate special requests for designers in preparation for an appointment
- Ensures proper communication exist between designer, buyer and builder with regards to emails or calls.
- May be asked to facilitate a design appointment or special projects
- Ensures deposit checks are turned into builder/management
- Invoices for design center services for design center agreement
- Maintain notes in VEO calendar with regards to scheduling
- Register buyers in VEO when contracts are received
- Assist buyers with VEO logins
- Organizes and distributes the design studio’s mail and correspondence
- Facilitates ordering of coffee bar items/water and supplies for design center.
- Maintain Browse documents
- Coordinates cleaning requests with office manager/cleaning company
- Complete spec home requests
- Coordinate couriers for designers and builders
- Coordinate/schedule conference room for customers/vendors.
- Pull selections for spec to sold homeowners
- Assist in Facility maintenance and presentation
Qualifications & Required Skills
- High school diploma/ GED Equivalent
- 1-3 years of administrative/reception/customer service experience
- Some design knowledge preferred
- Microsoft office
- Ability to multi task, strong organizational skills and enthusiastic attitude
