Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and Certified Cornerstone LMS Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in administering the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS) within the government sector. This role includes system configuration, optimization, and maintenance, as well as designing and managing training content to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Cornerstone LMS, ensuring the platform operates effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct regular health checks on the Cornerstone platform system configurations and update settings as needed.
- Update and enhance the LMS user interface for improved usability and engagement.
- Optimize the system by developing and designing content playlists, improving search functionality, and ensuring seamless navigation.
- Evaluate, repair, or delete malfunctioning courses within the LMS.
- Create, evaluate, and repair course curriculum to align with training objectives.
- Develop and design content pages for agency-wide training initiatives, such as Supervisor Development Training and Federal Trade Commission University.
- Generate reports as needed to support training initiatives, system performance, and compliance.
- Review, update, and correct Enterprise Human Resource Integration (EHRI) information required by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
- Collaborate with internal teams, organizational leaders, and vendors to ensure LMS functionality and address user needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS, directory structures, file systems, and system integrations.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, system security, and compliance with government standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- Certified Cornerstone Administrator (Required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cornerstone LMS Administrator in the government sector.
- Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting and understanding of directory structures and systems.
- Proficiency in course design, content development, and system optimization.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a responsive, service-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external vendors.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for broader audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with government compliance standards and policies related to LMS management.
- Experience with LMS integrations and reporting.
- Knowledge of e-learning tools and technologies.
