WisEngineering, LLC is currently interviewing candidates for an immediate or near term position in support of our ongoing Department of Defense program at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Candidate MUST BE US CITIZEN with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Successful candidate will be a direct (W2) employee of WisEngineering. Please do not proceed if you are represented by a third party or not eligible for security clearance.
Location: Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ (Blended On Site and Remote) NOT 100% remote.

Project Description: WisE is looking for an experienced Java Developer with testing experience in a PRODUCTION / software factory environment. Candidate will support the creation and maintenance of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud based DevSecOps processes, tools, and AWS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) resources. The objective also includes supporting the Government maintaining and modernizing existing on premise DevSecOps processes, tools, and other Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.
Qualifications: This position will utilize software programming languages such as Java, C/C , and others as needed. Must be familiar with load testing, including the use of tools such as Selenium, JMeter, SOAPUI, and LoadRunner (a plus) or related alternatives. Experience with Playwright a plus! Experience in Java C development required! Must have experience within a team environment greater than 5. This is not an entry level position. Must have a MIN of 2 years of full time work experience. This is also not a .NET environment. Must have focusd on Core Java.

Responsibilities:
- Resolve technical problems related to software testing and related issues with various systems.
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
- Design, develop, automate testing and reporting, deploy and maintain software, software libraries and their associated documentation meeting Software Engineering Data Package (SEDP) requirements that support program capabilities
- Ensure all associated build documentation including but not limited to release notes, change logs and bug fixes are placed under configuration control
- Support integration, acceptance, and other test activities required to demonstrate that developed capabilities meet requirements and their respective use cases.
- Project tracking with Atlassian JIRA and GitLab, documentation management in Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Teams / Army 365 tools, source control with GitLab, CI and automated builds with GitLab CI, code artifacts and repository management with Sonatype Nexus.
- Use the in-house ticketing system to log, manage, and communicate status of all assigned mission IT technical support requests and work activities to users entering tickets.
- Follow standard operating procedures, conform to established policies and standards, while using techniques, and standards for guidance
- Support organizational objectives, operational activities, and service delivery activities for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Must be familiar with QA/Testing tools to include Playwright
