The Role: Founding Engineer

• Architect & Build from Scratch: Design, implement, and maintain core systems that power our AI-driven insights and analytics. You’ll own end-to-end projects, from brainstorming to deployment.
• Shape the Product Roadmap: Work hand-in-hand with our CEO and leadership team to define engineering priorities, product features, and technical strategy.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with our GTM team to ensure a seamless user experience - from onboarding flows to advanced analytics. Your technical input will directly influence PMF.
• Iterate Rapidly: We operate in a fast-paced environment. You’ll build features quickly, gather feedback, and refine. You will ship weekly.
• Spearhead AI & ML Initiatives: Leverage LLMs to unless our product and our product development processes.
• Mentor & Lead: As we expand, you’ll help interview, onboard, and mentor new engineering team members - shaping the future of our engineering culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Ownership Mindset: You’re a self-starter who takes extreme ownership in your work and holds yourself accountable to outcomes and end to end delivery.
• Customer Centric: You get excited about learning about becoming a master of our customer's problems.
• Hunger, Grit, and Low Ego: You’re hands-on, ready to roll up your sleeves, and ready to face a start-up environment. You take feedback in stride and operate in a constant mindset of low ego.
• Technical Excellence: You have a solid foundation in full-stack development (e.g., backend services, front-end frameworks, databases, cloud infrastructure), with an eye toward scalability and performance.
• NYC-Based: You can be in-person with our CEO at minimum three days a week.
• Past Start Up Experience: Startup or side-project experience is valuable, but potential and passion often trump a lengthy resume. We’re looking for builders at heart.
• AI First Engineer: You embrace the recent engineering advancements in AI to continuously uplevel yourself.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
