We're looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Blume team based in Canton, Massachusetts. You will work alongside another Billing Specialist in the finance team on day-to-day activities which will include billing, rate maintenance, audits, support and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage bi-monthly billing, draft/collection process
- Maintain rates and conduct rate audit and rate analysis to ensure billing accuracy.
- Research and resolve rate application issues and client questions.
- Conduct payment recognition and correct cash application, bulk credits when necessary.
- Billing and collections support for both clients and application users.
- Produce weekly and monthly AR aging.
- Monthly settlement process, calculation of Blume management fees and revenue/expense data for Asset Owners.
- Answer general client and customer questions.
- Analyze and process changes in information systems to support accurate and efficient billing process and monthly close.
- Analyze financial data to determine meaningful trends.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as necessary.
What we're looking for
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of experience in billing/collections or account management or entry level accounting and finance
- The ability to have attention to the numbers while also possessing the personal skills to communicate and assist client’s evolving needs
- This is a Hybrid role based in our Schaumburg office, coming into the office 1 day a week.
