Delivery Driver – Louisville
We seek a proven contributor to join our louisville branch as a Delivery Driver.
The ideal candidate is an energetic team player whose primary role will be a Delivery Driver who can transition to the role of Warehouse Associate should it be needed.

Hours: Available to work between the hours of 7:30 – 5:00 pm / Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays 8:00 - 12:00 noon (*will receive a 1/2 day off during the week when scheduled to work on Saturday)
Summary of Job: This position requires delivering products to customers, loading and unloading of deliveries. You may also assist in the warehouse; picking/packing of products or orders received, Knowledge of residential, construction, and commercial plumbing and electrical products is a plus. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers by providing the right material, quantity, and promptly.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and verified safe driving record
- Work in a warehouse setting; some outdoor exposure during the workday; temperature is not controlled
- Required to stand, sit and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 70 pounds.
- Able to perform repetitive motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including the motion of placing and removing the product from shelves, stabilizing on the mode of delivery, or carrying by hand.
- Ability to perform light driving/delivery duties via company truck; perform repeated motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including motion of getting in and out of the truck from the driver seat, removing the product from the truck, stabilizing on the mode of delivery via two-wheel dolly or carrying by hand.
- The ability to safely operate a Forklift is a plus
Essential Functions:
Ability to perform driving/delivery duties via company truck.
Notify the order creator of any inventory or delivery delays or problems.
Understand and follow company policies and procedures. Always operating with a safety-first standard.
Perform all assigned duties safely and efficiently adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as required or requested by management.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of Driver-related experience.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of Driving experience.

Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; excellent interpersonal skills; representing his/herself professionally and courteously; ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
All selected candidates are required to undergo pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screen
- This position is required to have a DOT physical as part of their job assessment to perform the required duties/NO CDL requirement
