Key Responsibilities
Guest Support
- Assist servers in steps of guest service, ensuring all needs are met promptly.
- Deliver and refill water as needed.
- Communicate guest needs to front-of-house and back-of-house staff, managers, and chefs.
- Help ensure guest satisfaction by actively participating in service.
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently during service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of tables, chairs, banquettes, and the overall dining area.
- Properly set tables with the appropriate tableware and settings.
- Participate in marking tables for upcoming courses when applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stations and the entire venue.
- Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
- Set up floor and side stations with required supplies.
- Perform opening and closing side-work tasks as directed by management.
- Report any breakage or damage to equipment or furniture to management immediately.
- Attend daily pre-service meetings and participate in training sessions or departmental meetings.
- Work as part of a team, providing help and support to fellow team members.
- Exhibit a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a busser, especially in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge.
- Completion of company-provided busser training and Food Handling Certification.
- Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods and handle up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
