Host – Little Ruby’s Cafe, West Village ($20/hr)

Join our team at Little Ruby’s Cafe in West Village! We’re seeking an experienced Host to provide warm, professional, and seamless hospitality in a high-volume, upscale setting.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and guide guests to their tables with efficiency and professionalism.
• Manage reservations and seating through OpenTable, ensuring smooth service flow.
• Maintain a polished and inviting entrance area.
• Assist with incoming calls, guest inquiries, and coat check (where applicable).
• Support the team with opening/closing duties, menu organization, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the maître d’ and service staff to optimize guest experiences.
• Uphold DOH and company sanitation standards at all times.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Prior host experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
• Proficiency in OpenTable and guest reservation management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A polished, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
