Host Position at Little Ruby's Cafe – Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Join the team at Little Ruby's Cafe’s exciting new location in Williamsburg! We’re seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to deliver exceptional hospitality as part of our dynamic team.

Job Summary

As a Host, you’ll guide guests to their tables with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming experience. You’ll collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth front-of-house operation while upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to their assigned tables
• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and front desk area.
• Actively manage and process reservations, as well as assist with incoming calls and guest inquiries.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including preparing and organizing menus, setting up the front desk, and other side-work tasks.
• Participate in pre-service meetings, training sessions, and team discussions.
• Report any damages or equipment issues to management promptly.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous hospitality and host experience preferred, especially in high-volume environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive, professional attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  
  

Compensation
