What You'll Do:
- Manage Reservations: Oversee the reservation system, ensuring proper guest flow and maximizing seating efficiency during peak hours. You'll manage special requests, VIP accommodations, and ensure the best experience for every guest.
- Lead Front-of-House Operations: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of guest seating and service in a high-volume environment, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming, stylish atmosphere.
- Guest Relations: Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism, and a keen attention to detail. You’ll be the first point of contact for our VIPs, regulars, and new visitors, ensuring they feel special and valued.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the host team, ensuring they meet Èlephante’s high standards of service and hospitality. Provide ongoing training and support to maintain excellent guest interactions.
- Collaborate with Management: Work closely with the restaurant management team, kitchen, and service staff to coordinate guest flow, special events, and peak service periods.
- Maintain the Èlephante Brand: Uphold our commitment to excellence in every aspect of the guest experience, from the ambiance to the service to the smallest details.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment, with previous Maître d’ or similar management experience required.
- Reservation Management: Proficient in managing reservation systems and coordinating guest seating in busy, dynamic environments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead a front-of-house team, with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Personality: A polished, professional demeanor and the ability to connect with a diverse group of guests, including VIP clientele.
- Hospitality Excellence: A commitment to the highest standards of service, with the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs seamlessly.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Salary: Competitive base salary between $80,000 - $95,000, based on experience.
