Wishing Well School (AKA Central Coast Waldorf School) is an AWSNA accredited Waldorf school serving children in preschool through 8th grade. Wishing Well's approach to education goes beyond the development of the intellect to uniquely meet the needs of the whole child. Our program is designed to instill within each student a reverence for academic excellence, artistic expression, social integration, and practical life skills. We recognize that children are imbued with an inherent love of learning which can be met through imagination, nature, curiosity, authenticity, love, and a little bit of magic.
Wishing Well School is seeking a creative teacher who fosters connection with the Spanish speaking world while teaching the fundamentals of vocabulary and grammar through Waldorf teaching practices. A native Spanish speaker is preferred although all applicants will be considered.
This position is best served by a reliable individual who values teamwork, can work flexibly and creatively, and who can lean into the virtues and values of Waldorf education. As a developing program, our teachers and staff share a deeply supportive ethic, where being a “team player” is essential to meeting our classroom and program needs.
This part time position is pays $30-40 per lesson/contact period (depending on experience). The schedule is Monday - Friday between the hours of 10am to 2pm.
