Wisper Internet is expanding. With offices located in Illinois and Missouri, we are a leading wireless high-speed internet provider in the Midwest. We provide reliable service, focusing on rural and outlying communities.
Salary: Base salary commission (potential to earn up to $100,000 annual compensation)
Hours: 40-45 hours per week, flexible scheduling, nights and weekends as needed
Overnight travel: up to 50% in network travel
Wisper Internet is seeking a highly motivated and experienced D2D Sales Manager to lead our sales team in selling wireless internet services in Missouri, Illinois and surrounding states.
This position demands a dynamic leader with a proven history of success as a D2D closer, along with the ability to recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team of 6-10 agents across our territory. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and a commitment to training and empowering their team with the expertise gained through hands-on field experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership - lead, motivate and manage a team of door-to-door sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals for internet services
- Team Building and Recruitment - Actively recruit, train and develop new sales representatives
- Performance Management - monitor and evaluate team performance
- Sales Closing - Leverage your expertise to successfully close deals while coaching your team on overcoming objections and handling negotiations effectively.
- Reporting & Analytics - As the Director, you will be responsible for tracking team performance, ensuring key metrics are met, and providing detailed reports to senior management.
- Lead Preparation - Identify and distribute serviceable addresses in strategic areas to optimize sales opportunities and drive team success.
Requirements
- Prior Door to Door sales experience is a must
- Must live or be willing to relocate within the Wisper footprint. Teams will primarily be in Southern Missouri and Southern Illinois, St. Louis or Kansas City areas are acceptable, no Chicago
- Overnight travel will be required - your position will need to move around the Wisper footprint in MO and IL frequently to ensure your teams are successful. Likely travel 50%
- Current Driver's License
- Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
