Schedule: 40 hours per week with overtime as needed; general hours are M-F 8-4:30p including weekends rotating shifts and after hours on call shifts.

YOUR DAY AS A MAINTENANCE TOWER TECHNICIAN
As a Full-Time Maintenance Tower Technician at Wisper ISP, you will play a vital role in enhancing our wireless Internet services by climbing towers up to 1000 feet to install and maintain advanced technology. Your expertise will be key in mounting wireless Internet equipment and camera systems, while effectively relaying data cables to ensure seamless connectivity. Additionally, you will install battery backups and grounding systems to uphold the integrity of our installations. Preparing equipment for installation and adhering to rigorous training protocols and safety briefings will be essential in this hands-on role, where your commitment to safety and quality service will shine through.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A MAINTENANCE TOWER TECHNICIAN
To excel as a Full-Time Maintenance Tower Technician at Wisper ISP, you'll need a combination of technical skills and a strong commitment to safety. A valid driver's license is essential, as you will be required to travel within the network as needed by the department. You must be able to be added to the company auto insurance policy, ensuring you meet all safety and operational standards. The role demands the ability to climb towers up to 1000 feet, so physical endurance and comfort with heights are crucial. Additionally, you'll need to successfully complete required tower training within your first 90 days and obtain necessary certifications to comply with industry standards.
Participation in an on-call rotation schedule and flexibility to work after normal business hours and on weekends are also part of the job requirements, emphasizing the importance of reliability and teamwork in this dynamic position.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to be added to the Company auto insurance policy
- Must successfully complete required tower training within 90 days of hire
- Obtain & maintain the provided training certifications per industry standards
- Ability to climb towers up to 1000 ft.
