Wisper Internet is seeking a results-driven Business and Partnerships Manager to oversee the full development and expansion of our business internet brand strategy, with a particular focus on building partnerships, launching an affiliate network, and driving revenue growth. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who can spearhead new sales channels, nurture key relationships, and lead the development of scalable partnerships that fuel Wisper's long-term success in the business and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) segments. This is a greenfield opportunity - you'll be the first to lead this initiative!
> Essential Job Functions
Strategic Sales Growth & Lead Generation
- Drive new customer acquisition through proactive outreach, prospecting, and relationship
development, particularly in the multi-dwelling unit (MDU) arena, small business, and enterprise
markets. - Collaborate with internal teams to create and refine sales strategies and messaging that directly
support revenue growth and increased market share. - Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and pipeline goals related to business sales, partnerships, and
channel growth.
Market Engagement & Representation
- Leverage market insights to identify untapped segments and tailor outreach strategies to meet the
specific needs of our partners/affiliates. - Represent the company at industry events, local networking groups, and business expos to expand
brand visibility and drive partner interest.
Partnership & Affiliate Development
- Identify, develop, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with property managers, local
business associations, economic development groups, and potential reseller partners. - Build and grow our initial affiliate network that contributes to sustained, scalable sales
results. This includes structure, tools, compensation plans, onboarding, and ongoing performance
management. - Negotiate partnership agreements and implement co- branded outreach efforts where
applicable.
Program Management
- Launch and oversee Wisper's affiliate and partner programs for ROI, quality lead flow, and consistent pipeline development.
- Create scalable systems for tracking, reporting, and improving affiliate performance.
> Desired Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or partnership management-preferably in telecom, technology, or similar industries.
- Experience building or managing affiliate programs or strategic sales partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - capable of building new programs from scratch.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple partnership pipelines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
> Job Preferences and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of Sales experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; eligible for company auto insurance
- Regular & predictable attendance
- Authorized to work in the country without current or future visa sponsorship
- Must pass a background check, MVR & drug screen
> Physical Requirements:
- Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs.
