Shift: Monday-Friday (6.00AM - 2.30PM)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Refurbishing water coolers – cleaning, detailing, Parts wash area, prewash area – coolers pass testing down a mainline – scrubbed washed and hosed down.
• PPE REQUIRED – NO JEWELRY OF ANY KIND! STEEL TOE SHOES ARE A MUST!
• Participate as a team member in a high volume, light manufacturing environment.
• Support the plant to ensure compliance to the clinet Food Safety Management System and all other food safety and product quality programs
• Teamwork, cooperation, leadership, initiative, self-directed, integrity, analysis (problem solving) judgement (problem solving) strong communication skills, planning & organizing, respect for others, safety commitment and attention to detail.
• Provide vacation coverage to team members
• Able to demonstrate his/her commitment to client Brands Management System, Food Safety, Environment and Safety and Health and the Leadership Principles client Brands to manage and improve client T&P/SC

Qualifications:

• Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs
• Must be able to assemble, wash and sanitize various units as required using the established procedure
• Perform and record activity on workstation
• Solve problems in independent and team settingsWork safely with and around chemicals such as cleaning agents & sanitizers.
• Ability to move/lift, lower or rise from ground or above ground level objects weighing up to 75 lbs for short periods of time and moving by pushing, pulling or carrying over a distance up to 100 feet
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Ability to work independently or with a team with solid communication skills

Comments/Special Instructions: This a Cleaning job with following responsibilities: Cooler Unloading

• Palletized, wrapped coolers arrive at the workstation.
• Remove the boxes from the coolers.
• Take off the cardboard and any additional packaging materials.
• Separate any attached parts or pieces of pots.

Pre-Washing

• Use a soap bottle to scrub the outside of the cooler.
• Rinse the cooler thoroughly to remove soap and residue.
• This step is performed continuously throughout the shift.

Pot Inspection & Processing

• Check if the pots are reconditionable:
• If not usable, place them in a scrap box.
• If usable, wash, rinse, sanitize, and place them in bins for future use.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
