Role: : Senior Software Engineer
Title: Assistant Vice President/Vice President
Location: Boston, MA (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid)
Mode of Work: 3 days per week onsite required
Required experience: 7 Years

Our workforce consists of 1500 highly skilled professionals, with leadership from Wharton, MIT, IITs, IIMs, and NITs and decades of experience at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, MSCI, Deutsche Bank, Verizon, British Telecom etc. Without any external funding or investments, Wissen Technology has grown its revenues by 100% every other year since it started as a subsidiary of Wissen Group in 2015. We have a global presence with offices in the US, India, UK, Australia, Mexico, and Canada.
You are: A true technical and/or domain ninja. Comfortable working in the quickly growing nature of profitable startups and have a “can do” attitude and are willing to take on any task thrown your way.
You will:
· As an AVP help to develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence.
· Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank/other esteemed client.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required skills:
- Strong development experience with Java/J2EE, DB technologies.
- Strong development experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Spring boot.
- Strong experience on Databases & Linux/Unix.
- Strong design and development skills.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a fast-based business environment with a proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- A “get it done” mentality.
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to multitask and disciplined attention to detail, along with a team player mentality.
- Minimum 2 years of experience on Camunda (desirable)
Skills Desired:
- Experience with Python & Spark.
- Knowledge of batch processing is a good to have, such as Spring Batch.
- Experience with HTMLS /JS/CSS/ Angular technologies.
- Financial domain expertise or compliance system knowledge.
