Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Associate Survey Analyst with a GIS background to join a dynamic Land Survey team. This role involves mapping physical environments using GPS, UAVs, 3D laser scanners, LiDAR, and photogrammetry, analyzing data in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS Pro, and supporting land development, boundary analysis, and construction projects.
Qualifications:
* BA/BS in GIS or Land Surveying OR 6 years of relevant experience
* Career path includes LSIT & RLS licensure mentorship
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct land surveys, data analysis, and boundary determinations
* Utilize CAD and GIS tools to create maps, exhibits, and legal documents
* Work with municipal agencies, design teams, and field crews
* Process aerial imagery, LiDAR datasets, and construction staking calculations
* Prepare legal descriptions, plats, and survey reports
Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro (Bluebeam is a plus)
* Strong boundary principles, geometry, and trigonometry knowledge
* Ability to analyze field data and prepare GIS datasets
* Willingness for periodic fieldwork and travel
