Senior Reporter

With Intelligence is seeking a talented journalist to help spearhead the expansion of our market-leading asset management coverage into infrastructure.

The role will involve covering some of the biggest global infrastructure asset managers at a hugely exciting time for the sector, with public policies across multiple regions driving growth and innovation and higher interest rates impacting demand and performance across a range of infra strategies.

You will be charged will uncovering exclusive intelligence on new launches, fund innovations and growth strategies at a wide range of asset management companies. You’ll need to be on top of who is winning assets and why, as well as who is faltering, shutting down or switching tactics.

You’ll track the ups and downs of fund performance and how managers are evolving their fund terms and structures to attract a wider array of investors that are looking to grow or shake-up their infrastructure allocations.

Your goal will be to provide investor relations teams in asset management with high value actionable information to help them better understand their market, benchmark their efforts and spot new opportunities for growth.

The successful candidate will be expected to build up and cultivate a bulging book of helpful industry contacts and supply a regular stream of exclusive news articles as part of a fast-paced global real assets news desk.

You will also cover events and industry conferences throughout the year, including international travel, providing plenty of opportunities to meet new sources and learn about the sector.

Applicants should have proven journalism experience, preferably with business or finance publications, although we are open to reporters who have built up a strong track record covering news across other industries.

• A successful track record of reporting exclusive stories, preferably with at least two years of experience in financial journalism

• Must be willing to work out of our London office under a hybrid arrangement

• Journalism degree training preferable

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• An interest in, and some knowledge of, asset management is preferable
