Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Address guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the property’s landscaping, including lawn care, trash removal, and outdoor upkeep.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- Assist in seasonal opening and closing tasks to ensure the motel is in peak condition.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while handling multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Performance Measurement:
- 90-day performance review, timely completion of maintenance tasks, and guest satisfaction feedback.
