Job Summary
The Supervisor will assist in the direct management of the Patient Admissions department for the various hospital units by the coordination of hiring, coaching and counseling of staff; maintaining schedules, attendance and payroll records; monitoring and reporting on process improvements and quality indicators; managing software used to support department functions; and addressing patient complaints. The Supervisor must be able to perform the duties of Patient Admissions as well as ensuring quality customer service and that these duties are carried out in a competent, confidential, and professional manner.

Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Minimum of six (6) years of hospital patient registration and switchboard leadership experience required.
- CHAA Certification is required and must obtain CHAM certification within 3 years in the position.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
