Job Summary
The Team Leader coordinates the daily production and meal service in the Department of Food and Nutrition. This includes supervising and instructing personnel in the department, acting as a coordinator for the patient and patient's family, inventorying, ordering daily orders and receives food orders. These duties are carried out in a competent, confidential, and professional manner.
Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospital food preparation preferred.
- Related experience in supervisory position preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- The position does not require license, certification or registration; however, completion of a Dietary Managers Course is encouraged.
