The Landscape Architecture Senior Project Manager is a client-facing role responsible for managing projects, guiding team members and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary firm. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional service and design expertise to clients while overseeing a diverse portfolio of private and public projects. A key focus is on driving growth in the private sector, including mixed-use developments, adaptive reuse projects, multifamily communities, and residential amenities.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and communicating across teams, ensuring adherence to company and department processes, and fostering a collaborative environment that reflects the company’s culture and core values.

Requirements
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
- 10 years of landscape architecture experience with 4 years experience managing teams
- Licensed/Registered Landscape Architect in the state of North Carolina or ability to seek reciprocity
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of and with LA practices including, preparation of construction documents and technical specifications, construction administration and construction observation
- Proficient skill and experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
- A team player that is committed to a collaborative design process
- Self-motivated, engaged and strategic thinking with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Strong leadership, team-building and engagement skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Experience with business and strategic planning processes
- Proven track record of developing existing and new client relationships
- Proven Track record of mentoring and coaching team members
- Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking
Preferred qualifications include:
- Project Manager training and/or certifications
- Knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local codes and permitting requirements
- Experience/relationships with developers and architects in the fields of mixed-use, multifamily, adaptive-reuse, and residential amenities.
