Responsibilities
This role involves reviewing partnership and corporate tax returns prepared by tax staff and/or seniors for accuracy, researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters, identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities, handling and resolving tax controversies, overseeing complete tax research projects for various clients and diverse industries, managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines, conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly, and serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license or Masters of Science in Taxation, 8 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting firm, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff, excellent analytical and technical tax skills, exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships, ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment, and strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients' management
